What should I expect at my first visit?
Your first session includes a thorough intake of your health history, fertility goals, menstrual and lifestyle patterns, and an initial acupuncture treatment. It typically lasts 60-90 minutes. Follow-ups are 60 minutes.
What should I wear to my appointment?
Wear something loose and comfortable. We primarily place acupuncture needles below the elbows and knees, as well as on the abdomen. You’ll remain draped and cozy throughout your session.
How long are appointments?
Initial appointments are about 60-90 hours. Follow-up treatments last about 60 minutes.
Does acupuncture hurt?
Not at all! Most patients feel only a tiny pinch or nothing at all. Many people feel deeply relaxed and even nap during their treatment.
Do you take insurance?
We do not bill insurance directly, but we’re happy to provide a superbill for reimbursement. Many patients use HSA or FSA cards. We recommend checking with your provider in advance.
What safety precautions do you take?
We use only sterile, single-use needles. Each room is equipped with HEPA air filters. We sanitize all surfaces frequently and use fresh sheets for every patient.
FERTILITY ACUPUNCTURE
Do you only treat patients trying to conceive?
Not at all! We specialize in fertility, reproductive health, and general women’s wellness. That includes hormonal balance, menstrual health, emotional wellbeing, and pregnancy and postpartum care.
How often should I receive treatments for fertility?
We recommend weekly treatments for a minimum of 3–4 cycles. Consistency helps us track progress, regulate your cycle, and support long-term results.
Do you offer acupuncture support for IVF, IUI, or FET?
Yes! We support all phases of assisted reproductive technology and are experienced in syncing acupuncture with your protocol. This includes stimulation, egg retrieval, transfer prep, and post-transfer care.

Is acupuncture safe during pregnancy?
Yes! When done by an experienced practitioner, acupuncture is very safe and helpful throughout all trimesters. We treat nausea, fatigue, headaches, back pain, breech position, and prep for labor.
Do you treat postpartum concerns?
Absolutely. We support healing after birth with acupuncture, pelvic floor work, scar therapy, emotional regulation, and more. You’re not meant to do this alone.
DOULA CARE
What is the difference between a birth doula and a postpartum doula?
Birth doulas support you through labor and delivery with comfort techniques and emotional support. Postpartum doulas help you adjust to life with a newborn — including feeding, sleep, and healing support.
When should I book doula services?
We recommend booking in your first or second trimester for birth support. Postpartum care can be arranged during pregnancy or after baby arrives — based on availability.
PLACENTA ENCAPSULATION
What is placenta encapsulation?
Placenta encapsulation involves steaming, dehydrating, and grinding your placenta into capsules. It’s believed to help with mood, milk supply, energy, and recovery.
Are you certified?

How do I arrange encapsulation?
Once booked, we provide detailed storage and transport instructions. We pick up your placenta (local area), prepare it in a certified space, and deliver capsules within 3–5 days.
